You could also convince your sister and Marc to make you one: http://www.instructables.com/id/Instant-Cozy-Kimono-Robe-Made-from-Blanket/ (in orange perhaps?) Only, have them cut down the neck on the back a little bit so you can slip it on backwards like the slanket.

I don't know what to say, except: what you wrote meant a lot to me. Thank you for the kind words.

I am also proud to call you family.

I believe I have directed you here in the past, but to any other readers: check out The “Blog” of “Unnecessary” Quotation Marks -- http://www.unnecessaryquotes.com/

The site has just one joke, but that joke has legs. What they do is, they subtly caption each submitted photo with a phrase or response that assumes the quotes have been used correctly. It never fails to make me laugh.

I suggest you try, as I do, to apply the same logic to unnecessary apostrophes used for pluralization. One solution is to assume the punctuation is meant as an unusual contraction. Thus, the phrase, "Restroom's out back," can be interpreted as "The Restroom is out back."

Another, more complicated, example was introduced to me recently when I saw a sign in a restaurant bathroom that I believed to have been punctuated in error. When I brought it to the proprietor's attention, however, I was told that I had misunderstood the meaning of the sign; in actuality, the sign was addressed to a specific 'Must' -- a type of sentient, corporeal fog somewhere between dust and a mist -- that was owned collectively by the employees. Since the shop dog -- affectionately known as 'Hand' -- is currently washing, the Must was being reminded that it, too, was required to wash (though, since it was not able to actually get itself wet or work the faucet, it would be "washing" by simply going through the motions).

Hence the sign, "Employee's Must "Wash;" Hand's." was actually pretty accurate.

Just something to think about.

I've developed a phrase to clarify my use of "sorry."

I'll be talking with my wife and she'll mention that she had a really hard day at work, and I'll say, "I'm sorry." She'll say, "It's not your fault." To which I'll reply, "I'm not apologizing, I'm empathizing."

It works, but that's English for ya.

What I think is funny is everyone insulting the younger generation. When you read about the people falling for Nigerian bank scams and scams like the one above, how many of the people are under 35? Very few. They are stupid gullible adults who are currently running the country. Additionally, you act like it's so scary that this generation will be running the country, but whose fault is it that kids are like that nowadays? Maybe the people raising them? Mmmm? And those people raising those kids are in charge of the country right now. And we are in just such a great place right now. Honestly, I can't see how our generation will be able to screw things up any worse that the one running the country right now already has.
